The number of foreign leaders invited to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the WWII victory can be compared to the number of distinguished guests at the BRICS summit held in Kazan.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the Russian President.

"I can say that a large number of invitations have been sent. The number of invitees can actually be compared to the summit held in Kazan," he said.

Peskov did not clarify whether the invited leaders included those from Western countries:

"We will inform you about everything."
