Russian citizens injured in plane crash evacuated

An Il-76 aircraft of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations (EMERCOM) has taken off from Aktau heading to Moscow. The plane will transport nine Russian citizens, including one child, who were injured in the crash for treatment in the Russian capital.

Axar.az reports that citing TASS, reports that this was announced by the press service of Russia's Ministry of Emergency Situations.

"Following the crash of the passenger aircraft flying from Baku to Grozny, the special EMERCOM aircraft with Russian citizens on board has taken off from Aktau airport. There are nine people on the aircraft, including one child," the statement said.

According to the information, the 24-hour hotline established by Russia's EMERCOM's Emergency Psychological Assistance Center is still operational. Psychologists are also working with the families of the victims and the injured in Chechnya.
