US President Donald Trump is urging technology giants to move their production to the US after delaying tariffs on smartphones and computers for 90 days.

Axar.az reports that White House press secretary Caroline Levitt spoke about this.

"President Trump has made it clear that America cannot rely on China for the production of vital technologies such as semiconductors, chips, smartphones, and laptops," she said.

According to her, the world's largest technology companies, including Apple, TSMC, and Nvidia, are rushing to move their production to the US as soon as possible, following Trump's instructions.

CNN reports that the cancellation of tariffs on smartphones, computers, monitors, and various parts could be big news for technology giants such as Apple.

It is noted that Apple carries out about 90% of iPhone production and assembly in China.
