Bloody clashes in Syria’s Al-Suwayda province have left 37 people dead — including 27 Druze and 10 Bedouins, among them 2 children — and nearly 50 wounded.

Axar.az reports, citing SOHR, that the Syrian army has sent major reinforcements to the region after security checkpoints were attacked.

Fighting has spread across several areas, including Al-Maqous, Al-Tayrah, Al-Mazra’ah, and Haran.

Many civilians have fled their homes, while local fighters and reinforcements from Daraa and Horan continue to battle. A police checkpoint was also attacked, and schools have postponed exams amid the escalating violence.
