Turkiye will provide all necessary support to strengthen Syria’s defense capabilities and assist in the fight against terrorism, if required.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by the Turkish Ministry of Defense.

A ministry spokesperson noted that Turkiye's position on the recent developments in Syria and Israel’s attacks on Syrian territory is clear:

“Our goal is a safe, stable, and strong Syria that has achieved territorial integrity and political unity. Israel’s airstrikes on Syria jeopardize efforts toward peace and stability in the region.”

The spokesperson also emphasized that no Turkish soldiers stationed in Syria were harmed during the Israeli airstrikes.
