A powerful explosion occurred in Syria’s city of Idlib, resulting in two deaths and at least 70 injuries.
Axar.az reports, citing Al Arabiya sources, that the explosion took place in the Maarrat Misrin area.
The cause of the explosion has not yet been determined. Some sources suggest it may have been caused by a drone strike on a weapons depot.

According to a press release from Syria’s Ministry of Health, four people were killed and 116 injured in the explosion at a munitions depot near the village of Maarrat Misrin in northern Idlib.
