Near the village of Aqlan in the Sardasht district of West Azerbaijan province, Iran, an attack on an IRGC (SEPAH) base resulted in one death and one injury.

Colonel Shakir, head of public relations for the IRGC’s “West Azerbaijan Martyrs” base, stated that several hours ago, members of a terrorist group opened fire on the IRGC base near Aqlan village in Sardasht, killing one Basij fighter and injuring another.

There are no additional details about the identity of the group or the motive of the attack. The target was reported to be the IRGC military base in the region.
