The Thai Armed Forces have expanded their attacks on areas outside the conflict zone in Cambodia.

Axar.az informs that this was reported by the Cambodian Ministry of National Defense.

It was noted that since July 24, the Thai army has targeted not only military facilities but also civilian infrastructure, including schools, gas stations, and residential areas.

It was reported that heavy military equipment, F-16 fighter jets, and cluster bombs have been used during the attacks.

Thailand has also declared a state of military emergency in the Trat and Chanthaburi provinces bordering Cambodia and has deployed additional forces along the border with Cambodia’s Banteay Meanchey province.

A representative of the Cambodian Ministry of Defense described these actions as open interference with the country’s territorial integrity.

It is noted that earlier, both countries had announced an agreement on a ceasefire.
