Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan and Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration, has commented on reports regarding the involvement of a U.S. company in the Zangezur Corridor project.

Axar.az reports that he addressed the issue in an interview with Germany’s Berliner Zeitung newspaper, stating that this is a matter for Armenia to decide.

“If they are working with U.S. companies, that’s their business. As for us, we are doing our part: strengthening transportation links with Georgia, Iran, and Russia. These projects will benefit the entire region. If Armenia is willing, we are ready to work together on the Trans-Caucasus corridor,” he emphasized.
