An Israeli Lieutenant Colonel and F-16 pilot spoke about the details of air operations targeting Iran in an interview with the “War Zone” program.

Axar.az reports that the interview was aired by Euronews TV.

Due to security reasons, the pilot’s name was not disclosed. He stated that high-level coordination was maintained between F-16 and F-35 fighters during the operation. According to him, F-35s primarily handled reconnaissance and guidance functions, providing F-16 crews with critical intel they otherwise couldn’t access.

“F-35 fighters are equipped with technologies that can detect missile threats in advance. They can tell us what type of missile we might be facing. This has a serious impact on the success of the missions,” the pilot said.

He added that not a single surface-to-air missile was fired at Israeli jets during the entire operation.
