China demand: IMF needs to be updated

The G-20 should be used to facilitate the renewal of the IMF structure.

Axar.az reports this was stated by Chinese Foreign Minister Van Yi.

“At this stage, the IMF is not in a position to form a market economy and provide representation and voting rights to developed countries. The G-20 should act as a political mechanism for future developments. It is to maintain the trend of reforming the IMF required by the G-20, ”he said.
