Swedish hospital says has received one case of suspected Ebola

According to the Swedish Regional Authority, a patient has been isolated at Uppsala hospital after being suspected of carrying the Ebola virus.

Axar.az reports citing foreign media.

The patient was initially admitted to Enkoping Hospital but later transferred to a facility in Uppsala County. The hospital in Enkoping was swiftly closed over fears of staff potentially being exposed to the deadly virus.

The Ebola virus is transmitted to humans from wild animals and is estimated by the World Health Organization to have a 50-percent fatality rate.
