10 people in Armenia have been diagnosed with swine flu.

Axar.az informs citing Report.

Acting Minister of Health Arsen Torosyan tried to alleviate the situation by saying: "Let's not call it a swine flu. As in Europe, there is a common H1N1 virus in Armenia."

According to the Armenian Health Ministry, on January 8, 642 citizens applied to the polyclinic with "swine flu" symptoms. Of them 597 were diagnosed with inflammation of the respiratory tract.

Notably, the number of deaths from A (H1N1) virus (swine flu) in Georgia has risen to 11.
