The Russian Consulate General in Guangzhou has asked Russians living in southern China to register for a consulate.

Axar.az reports citing Russian media that according to the information, Consul General of Russia in Guangzhou Victor Pashkov said there are 3,700 Russians living in the region, but only a small number of them are registered.

Pashkov said it would prevent emergency contact during the risk of coronavirus, and asked the Russians to register with the consulate in the south of the country.
