The coronavirus mutates, but that doesn't make it more aggressive.

Axar.az reports this was stated by the expert of the World Health Organization Maria Van Kerkhove. She said scientists from around the world were tracking the genome of the coronavirus.

Kerkhove said that an operational group has been set up at the WHO to study coronavirus mutations.

The expert also said that mutations in this type of virus are a normal change.
