Any safe and effective vaccine developed is for the benefit of the world community.

Axar.az reports that the statement was made by technical experts of the World Health Organization.

"The WHO is aware that the coronavirus vaccine is registered in the Russian state register. WHO welcomes and welcomes all advances in the research and development of the COVID-19 vaccine. As the World Health Organization, we call for the world to have access to this vaccine quickly, fairly and equitably,” the organization said.

Earlier, WHO representatives said that they were discussing with Moscow the possibility of determining the compliance of the Russian-made vaccine with international standards.
