WHO has announced the end of the pandemic

We have disadvantages such as globalization, proximity and connection. But we also have the advantage of advanced technology. That is, we plan to end this pandemic (COVID-19) in less than two years.

Axar.az reports that, the head of the World Health Organization (WHO), Tedros Gebreyesus, said this in comparison with the Spanish flu, which occurred 100 years ago.

He stressed that the number of infections and deaths in the pandemic is not just important:

"There is an increase in the number of patients in intensive care."

The head of the WHO office in Azerbaijan, Hande Harmanci, also told local media yesterday that the coronavirus could last up to two years.
