The World Health Organization says 41,000 health workers in Africa are infected with the coronavirus.

Axar.az reports this is equal to 3.8% of the total number of infected people on the "black continent". It is even said that many of those who spread the disease are medical workers.

Because many of them were unaware that they were infected. It is noted that the infection of doctors with the virus has a serious impact on the number of medical staff operating in the risk zone.

South Africa and Egypt have the highest number of coronavirus deaths on the continent.
