WHO disseminates information on coronavirus vaccines

At present, tests for 8 vaccines against the new coronavirus (COVID-19) in the world are in the final, third stages of clinical trials and are being tested on humans.

Axar.az reports that, the statement came from the World Health Organization (WHO).

The WHO has approved a third phase of testing for a vaccine. The WHO has also approved the emergency use of five of the vaccines tested in the third phase. Two of them are expected to be tested in the United States and the United Kingdom in October.

In addition, three vaccines that have not been tested for emergency use by the Chinese and Russian governments have been allowed to be administered to medical and public sector workers in addition to the clinical trial program.
