Fauci confident US will get on top of COVID in 2021

About 75-80 per cent of US citizens need to be vaccinated to reduce the number of infections.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Anthony Fauci, the chief infectious disease specialist of the United States.

He said that in the event of collective immunity, the spread of the virus will be prevented:

"Without large-scale immunization, the low-level chronic transmission of the virus can begin. The chances of ending the pandemic will be completely destroyed.

According to Fauci, 230-237 million people in the country should be vaccinated.
