WHO extends global emergency over COVID-19 by 3 months

The World Health Organization (WHO) has extended its global healthcare emergency over the COVID-19 pandemic by three more months, the WHO Emergency Committee said in a statement issued in Geneva Monday.

Axar.az reports that this was reported by foreign media.

"As such, the Committee concurred that the COVID-19 pandemic remains a public health emergency of international concern (PHEIC) and offered advice to the Director-General," the statement reads.
