The Indian variant of coronavirus detected in Georgia

The Indian variant of novel coronavirus has been detected in Georgia, said Deputy Chairman of Healthcare Committee of Parliament Lado Kakhadze.

Axar.az reports citing Georgian media he noted that as several infection cases of the mutated virus were recorded in Georgia, a decision has been adopted on quarantine of people arriving from India for 14 days.
