Pfizer has withdrawn a drug at risk for cancer

Pfizer has dropped the anti-cancer drug Chantix due to the risk of cancer.

Axar.az reports this step was taken due to the high content of cancer-causing substances in the pills.

Experts from the Food and Drug Administration of the US Department of Health and Human Services have come to this conclusion.

Studies show that long-term use of the drug increases the risk of cancer.
