We must prepare for the next pandemic by investing in monitoring, early detection and rapid response plans in each country and strengthening the authority of the World Health Organization.

Axar.az informs that the statement came from UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres.

Guterres said all countries and manufacturers should prioritize the supply of vaccines through the COVAX mechanism and support the production of local tests, vaccines and treatments around the world.
