It is too early to talk about the end of the coronavirus pandemic, said the head of the World Health Organization.

Axar.az reports that the number of cases remained high, said the head of the organization, Tedros Adhanom Gebreyesus.

According to him, the vaccination rate is very low in many countries.

Although the number of deaths in the world is declining, the pandemic is still going on. The risk of contracting the disease remains high. "The easing of pandemic restrictions "will allow the spread of infections," Gebreyesus said.

The CEO's main concern is the continuing increase in the number of unvaccinated health workers and other at-risk people in the world.
