The world should not be afraid of the spread of monkeypox, Pfizer Inc. CEO Albert Bourla stated on Wednesday.

Axar.az informs that this was reported by foreign media.

"We shouldn't be afraid, but we should be prepared," he said during a World Economic Forum interview.

The pharmaceutical giant's head also advocated the use of vaccines in curbing the spread of the disease, claiming that "you don't want to get sick in the first place."
