Volcano erupts in Japan

Another eruption of the volcano Aso, which is located on the southwestern island of Kyushu in the prefecture of Kumamoto, occurred today.

Axar.az reports citing the TASS, this was reported by the national meteorological office of the country.

This is the fourth eruption of Aso over the past month, the previous one occurred on May 3. There is an evacuation zone near the volcano within a radius of several kilometers from the crater.

There are currently no reports of any damage from the eruption or its effect on the air travel.

Aso is one of the biggest volcanoes in Japan and also in the world. Its height is 1592 m.
