Armenian armed units violated ceasefire using 60 mm mortars and large-caliber machine guns with Azerbaijan 132 times on various parts of the contact line of Azerbaijani and Armenia troops over the past 24 hours, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said on April 14.

Armenian armed units stationed in village Berkaber of Armenia’s Ijevan district and on nameless uplands of Noyemberyan district, Chinari village of Berd district fired on the positions of Azerbaijani armed forces in Gizilhajili village and on nameless uplands of Azerbaijan’s Gazakh district, Agbulag and Kokhanabi villages of Tovuz district.

Moreover, Azerbaijani positions located on nameless uplands of Gadabay district came under fire from Armenian positions located on nameless uplands of Krasnoselsk district.

Another ceasefire violation came from the positions located in Goyarkh, Chilaburt, Yarimcha villages of Terter district, Shikhlar, Javahirli, Sarijali, Kangarli, Novruzlu, Shuraabad, Garagashli, Marzili, Yusifjanli villages of Aghdam district, Kuropatkino of Khojavend district, Garakhanbeyli, Horadiz, Gorgan, Ashaghi Seyidahmadli of Fizulu district, Mehdili of Jabrayil district, as well as on nameless uplands in Goygol, Goranboy, Khojavend, Fizuli and Jabrayil districts.

In consideration of the operational situation, Azerbaijani armed forces inflicted 132 strikes on enemy positions.
