President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has signed a law on amendments to the Tax Code.

This is due to the extension of tax breaks on bread.

According to the amendment, the import and sale of wheat in Azerbaijan, production and sale of wheat flour and bread will be exempt from taxation for
another 1 year.

In other words, tax exemption will cover the year 2020 as well. This discount is applied since 2017.

Discounts also apply to the manufacture and sale of doves. Thus, the article 164 (tax exemption) of the Code has been added to the words "production and sale of snails for 1 to 2 years in 2019"
