President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has congratulated the leaders of the CIS on the occasion of the 71th anniversary of the Soviet Union`s victory over Nazi Germany in World.

“In the year of the 71th anniversary of the beginning of the Great Patriotic War, we honor those who demonstrated an example of outstanding courage and loyalty to the Homeland to the whole world. The heroic deed of our fathers and grandfathers will always be a moral compass for the future generations.,” the message of greetings reads.

Alexander Lukashenko has also sent letters of greetings to President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan, President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili, President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, President of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev, President of Moldova Nicolae Timofti, President of Tajikistan Emomalii Rakhmon, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.
