Strong fire in the largest water park in Europe -

A strong fire broke out in the "Oceana" water park built in Gothenburg, Sweden's second-largest city.

Axar.az reports that the fire started during the construction works.

"When the alarm sounded, 30-40 people were there. We, of course, immediately began to evacuate people and at the same time put out the fire. It is a high-rise building made of plastic, so there was also heavy smoke," said Klaas Luppert, operations manager of the NCC construction company.

Thirteen people are said to have suffered minor injuries.

It should be noted that the construction of "Oceana", the largest water park in Europe, cost 1.2 billion dollars. It is planned to be commissioned in the summer of 2024.
