Israel and Azerbaijan sign AI cooperation memorandum

Israel and Azerbaijan have signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in the field of artificial intelligence.

Axar.az reports that the office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu released a statement on this.

According to the information, the document was signed by the head of the Israeli National Directorate of Artificial Intelligence, retired General Erez Eskel, and the Minister of Digital Development and Transport of Azerbaijan, Rashad Nabiyev, in Jerusalem, in the presence of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

The statement from the Prime Minister's Office noted that the parties plan to further deepen the existing cooperation and alliance through artificial intelligence.

It was noted that the partnership will cover the areas of supercomputer infrastructure, the application of artificial intelligence in civilian areas, the development of human capital, and joint scientific research.

We must ensure that we are among the leading countries in this field. I think we can do more together and do it better," Netanyahu said during his speech at the event.
