Kush Choksi, Senior Vice President for International Membership, Middle East and Turkiye at the US Chamber of Commerce, has invited Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev to Washington to meet with a larger delegation representing his country's business community.
Axar.az reports that he made this statement at a reception for Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
"There is a lot of interest in Azerbaijan. I think it all started with the COP two years ago, and the COP was a very successful event, and as you mentioned, this COP highlighted the importance of oil and traditional energy and new energy sources that the world needs. Today, representatives of companies from all sectors - from the main sectors to emerging sectors - have gathered here.
Since then, we have witnessed a lot of interest in Azerbaijan. Your ministers can always come. The more opportunities for interaction there are, the more they will perceive the opportunities that exist for American companies in Azerbaijan.
The next time you are in New York - I know how busy you are, but we will plan - we will ask you to help organize a roundtable for us as part of your visit. Maybe you can come to New York a day earlier - it could even be on a Sunday - we want to get your thoughts, your views on the companies," Choksi emphasized.
