The application of artificial intelligence should be widespread in state institutions.
Axar.az reports that President Ilham Aliyev said this at a meeting dedicated to the unified action plan "New Digital Architecture of Azerbaijan".
The President noted that in some developed countries in this area, artificial intelligence agents, as they are called, also assist in the daily activities of state officials:
"Because artificial intelligence can, of course, be an assistant in determining whether a decision is correct or not. Therefore, this system should also be looked at, and those represented in governing bodies should make extensive use of artificial intelligence.
As for the private sector, support mechanisms should be developed to ensure the same approach here. We can encourage the private sector to pay greater attention to this area, and proposals will be made on this."
The head of state said that the main goals for cybersecurity should be determined:
"This area is also one of the critical areas. Last year, we were subjected to a very organized and aggressive cyber attack. We know its source, and necessary measures have been taken to protect ourselves from these serious problems. Therefore, serious attention should be paid to this area. We already have a functioning Cybersecurity Center, and its work should always be in the spotlight."
