Bayramov updates on citizen evacuation from Middle East

Amid developments in the Middle East, efforts are underway to evacuate Azerbaijani citizens from various countries.

Axar.az informs Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said this during a joint press conference in Baku with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Moldova, Mihai Popsoi.

The minister noted that Azerbaijani embassies and consulates have received around 1,000 applications: “The main five countries—UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, and Kuwait—account for nearly 1,000 of our citizens seeking assistance.”
