On March 6, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus Maxim Ryzhenkov held a phone conversation with Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov.

Axar.az informs during the telephone conversation, the ministers exchanged views on recent developments in the region. They expressed concern over the military escalation and stressed the need to avoid any actions that could further heighten tensions.

Jeyhun Bayramov briefed his Belarusian counterpart on the drone attacks targeting Azerbaijan’s Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic carried out by the Islamic Republic of Iran on March 5.

The ministers also discussed other matters of mutual concern.
