Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the 43rd session of the World Heritage Committee, Minister of Culture Abulfaz Garayev met with Edmond Ademi, Minister of Portfolio Management of North Macedonia.

Axar.az informs that, Abulfas Garayev underlined that he actively participated in the 43rd session of the World Heritage Committee of North Macedonia. He said that this is a vivid example of the value given to the cultural heritage of the North Macedonia.

He underlined the importance of further development of relations between the two countries in the field of culture and emphasized the great potential in this direction.

Edmond Ademi, in turn, said he was hosting a high-level session of the World Heritage Committee of Azerbaijan. He noted that Azerbaijan is a country that has said its high-level participation in international events.

The guest also said that they are working closely with UNESCO on the protection and promotion of cultural heritage sites in the territory of North Macedonia. He said that his country is waiting for a successful outcome from this session for North Macedonia.

The sides exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.
