During the occupation of more than 30 years, Armenia implemented a policy of cultural cleansing against our country and destroyed our historical monuments and cultural heritage.

Axar.az reports that Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said this during his speech at the 78th session of the UN General Assembly (UNGA) today.

The minister noted that the tireless efforts of the Azerbaijani government in the lands freed from occupation, where there were unprecedented destructions for many years, are carrying out reconstruction works in order for people to return to their native lands.
