Azerbaijan is determined to reintegrate its Armenian residents as citizens with equal rights.
Axar.az reports that the head of the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Azerbaijan, Aykhan Hajizade, wrote about this in his X account.
He also shared the statistics related to the assistance and social services provided by Azerbaijan to the Armenian residents of Karabakh.
According to information, 2 trucks with a total of 40 tons of products were delivered to the Armenian residents of Karabakh on September 22. Those trucks contained 6,000 loaves of bread, 1,200 boxes of food, 1,200 boxes of hygiene products, and 9,600 diapers.
The aid sent on September 23 included 40 tons of gasoline and 24 tons of diesel fuel.
On September 25, medical supplies were sent for 200 people who were injured in the gas station explosion near Khankendi.
On September 26, 65,500 different types of hygiene products, 500-bed sets in one truck, 30 tons of gasoline, 50 tons of diesel fuel, 68 tons of gasoline, 22.3 tons of drinking water in two trucks, and 40 tons of flour in two trucks were sent. In addition, 15 special fire brigades were sent by the Ministry of Emergency Situations to Khankendi in connection with the explosion on September 26, and they successfully extinguished the fire. Also, the Khankendi-Shusha-Fuzuli-Gubadli-Eyvazli road was opened for the traffic of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC). Emergency vehicles of the ICRC helped the evacuations from Khankendi.
On September 27, the Ministry of Emergency Situations sent 10 special fire engines with a force of 50 people to the area. The installation of a field hospital and kitchens has started in Khojaly. Armenians were supplied with 32 tons of gas, 23,160 cookies, 10,000 chocolates, and 31,860 bottles of drinking water.
On September 29, the Ministry of Emergency Situations sent 53 vehicles and necessary equipment to facilitate the installation of a field hospital in Khojaly. As a result of the explosion near Khankendi, Azerbaijani rescuers pulled out the bodies of 48 people from the rubble.
Later, 10 buses were sent to take Armenian residents who voluntarily left Karabakh from Khankendi to Lachin border crossing point.
