In my opinion, the purpose of such provocations is to escalate the situation until the meeting in Granada. At the moment, very serious preparations are being made for the said meeting, and the messages given by the West about the meeting indicate that the meeting there will not be an ordinary meeting.

Axar.az reports that political commentator, Farhad Mamedov told about the objectives of the Armenian army's firing on our positions in Kalbajar.

He emphasized that Armenia has dragged itself into disaster with provocations.

"Another reason for firing our positions may be to prevent the reaching of some agreements. If the official Yerevan wants peace, it should have full control over the army, as in the local anti-terrorist operation. Because these provocations can end in disaster for them."
