Kazakhstan proposed the establishment of the Council of Central Banks of Turkic States.

Axar.az reports that the President of Kazakhstan Gasim-Jomart Tokayev said this during his speech at the informal summit meeting of the heads of state of the Organization of Turkic States (OST) held on July 6 in Shusha.

"In order to develop economic cooperation, it is necessary to strengthen relations in the financial sector. The Council of the Central Banks of the Turkic States should be established. I also propose the establishment of the Patent Organization of the Turkish states. The founding meeting of the Board of Directors of the Turkish Investment Fund was held this year. I am sure that his activity will have a positive effect on the development of the economy and the financial and investment sector," he stressed.
