On September 26, 2024, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan held a meeting in New York at the initiative and participation of US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken within the framework of the 79th session of the UN General Assembly.

Axar.az was informed about this by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan.

The parties agreed to make additional efforts to conclude the Agreement on the Establishment of Peace and Interstate Relations in the shortest possible time.

The sides of Azerbaijan and Armenia expressed their gratitude to the state secretary for organizing the meeting.
