Japanese Foreign Minister Takeshi Iwaya has expressed condolences to Azerbaijan regarding the crash of an AZAL passenger plane near the Kazakh city of Aktau on December 25.

It was noted that following the plane crash, the Japanese Foreign Minister sent a message to Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister, Jeyhun Bayramov, offering condolences to the victims of the tragedy and wishing a speedy recovery to the injured.
