On March 4, 2025, a telephone conversation was held between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Axar.az reports according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, during the phone conversation, issues related to the ongoing work within the framework of strategic partnership between the two countries, cooperation prospects in both bilateral and multilateral formats, as well as regional and international security matters were discussed.

The ministers emphasized their confidence that cooperation in political, economic, trade, energy, tourism, and other areas would further develop in 2025.

During the call, the two sides also exchanged views on cooperation in other international platforms and the situation in the Middle East.
