The weather forecast for Sunday in Azerbaijan has been announced.

Axar.az reports citing the National Hydrometeorology Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources that the weather in Baku and Absheron peninsula on February 7 will be changeable cloudy, occasionally gloomy and mainly rainless. Fog will be observed in some places at night and in the morning. Intensified south-west wind will become north-west in the evening.

The air temperature will be 5 to 7 C at night and 8 to 11 degrees in the daytime in the Absheron peninsula and 5 to 7 C at night, 9 to 11 C in the daytime in Baku.

The atmospheric pressure will drop from 767 mm to 761 mm mercury column. Relative humidity will make 65-75% at night and 55-60% in the daytime.

The weather in Azerbaijani regions will be mainly dry. Fog will be observed in some places at night and in the morning in some places. West wind will blow and intensify in some places at times. The air temperature will range from 0 to +5 C at night, +9 to +14 C in the daytime, while mountainous areas will see 0 to -5 degrees of frost at night and +4 to +9 C in the daytime.

According to the medical-meteorological forecast, intensified south wind in Baku and Absheron peninsula on February 7 may cause anxiety in meteo-sensitive people.

The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources has warned about a sharp change in weather conditions.

Axar.az reports citing the National Hydrometeorology Department of the Ministry told Report that on February 7, the south-west wind will reach 15-18 m/s and 20-23 m/s at times in Baku and Absheron peninsula. It will make 15-20 m/s and is expected to increase up to 23 m/s on February 8.

In the regions of Azerbaijan, west wind will intensify up to 20-25 m/s on February 7-8 in some places, and occasional rain is predicted from February 8 evening to February 12. Rain will be intensive in some places, snowfall is predicted in mountainous and foothill regions.
