The devastation in Aghdam saddened me. If we compare it with photos taken in the past, we can see that it is completely destroyed.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from New Zealand's newly appointed ambassador to Azerbaijan Wendy Hinton, who is visiting Agdam, which was liberated from occupation, as part of a delegation of foreign diplomatic corps.

The diplomat said that New Zealand companies may be interested in some aspects of the reconstruction of the liberated territories of Azerbaijan.

"New Zealand has special technology, as well as agricultural technology, sustainable energy technologies, and I know you are also interested in this area," Hinton said.

Touching upon the development of economic relations, the diplomat noted that New Zealand has already sold oil and wine to Azerbaijan. "I think that the volume of trade between us is small, but I hope we can expand it over time," she said.
