First Deputy Minister of Defense - Chief of the General Staff of the Azerbaijan Army Colonel-General Karim Valiyev visited the Ground Forces. The Chief of the General Staff held a meeting with the management board of the Ground Forces.

In the meeting, the work done in the Ground Forces was analyzed. The tasks set by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev to the Azerbaijan Army were conveyed to the participants of the meeting.

The First Deputy Minister of Defense conveyed the instructions of the Minister of Defense to the relevant officials regarding the further increase of combat training and the professional levels of military personnel, the adaptation of the trainings to the real combat conditions and the use of technological innovations in order to effectively apply newly adopted weapons and combat equipment.

After the consultation, it was reported to the Chief of the General Staff, who came to the Combat Control Center (CDC), that the necessary infrastructure for the organization of command management in interaction with other types of troops has been created here, taking into account modern combat methods.
