This pilot will represent our country in the drift competition

With the organizational support of the Azerbaijan Automobile Federation and the Baku City Ring Operating Company, the national final stage of the "Red Bull Car Park Drift" championship, which was held for the first time in Baku and is the most exciting drift series in the world, has ended.

Axar.az reports that according to the decision of the jury, Adil Akhundov won the first place among our national pilots. The second place was taken by Parviz Azizov, and the third place by Rauf Dadashzade.

The winners were awarded by the President of the Azerbaijan Automobile Federation Anar Alakbarov and the Minister of Youth and Sports of Azerbaijan Mr. Farid Gayibov.

It should be noted that the winner of the first place, Adil Akhundov, will represent Azerbaijan in the world final of "Red Bull Car Park Drift" to be held in Saudi Arabia.

In the "Red Bull Car Park Drift" competition, which is full of unique strict rules, 16 participants who showed the best drift competed in the national final stage. Inspired by drifters moving along the narrow corners of multi-story parking lots, concrete pillars and pillars, this series consisted of speeding through obstacle-filled places, displaying drifting skills and tasks such as "pendulum", "spiral", "gate", "flipper".

In August, the current participants of the Red Bull Car Park Drift competition received master classes from the world-famous Lebanese drifter Abdo Feghali. In 2012, the name of Abdo Fegali, who made the longest drift in Abu Dhabi, was entered into the Guinness Book of Records. He is also the winner of the first "Red Bull Car Park Drift" race held in Lebanon in 2008.
