President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and first lady Mehriban Aliyeva visited Jabrayl and Gubadli regions on October 19.

Axar.az reports that the head of state participated in the opening of the 14.2-kilometer Shukurbeyli-Jabrayil section of the Shukurbeyli-Jabrayil-Hadrut highway.

President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva got acquainted with the "Azerbaijan-Turkey International Forestry Training Center", "Smart Nursery" and "Friendship Forest" Complex, which will be established in Jabrayil district. The head of state and the first lady participated in the ceremony of releasing 18 gazelles to the territory of Jabrayil region within the framework of reintroduction projects.

The head of state laid the foundation of the Digital Control Center of the Jabrayil Electric Network and got acquainted with the construction works carried out at the 330/110 kilovolt international "Jabrayil" Junction Substation.

President Ilham Aliyev got acquainted with the projects of "Bergushadchay" and "Zabukhchay" reservoirs in Gubadli district, and laid the foundation of the Digital Control Center of Gubadli Electricity Network.

The General Plan of Gubadli city was presented to the head of state and the first lady. President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva participated in the groundbreaking ceremony of the Museums of Occupation and Victory in Gubadli.
