Rafael Benitez appointed Panathinaikos head coach

Spanish specialist Rafael Benítez has been appointed head coach of Greece’s Panathinaikos football team.

Axar.az reports the information was published on the club’s official website.

The 65-year-old coach has previously managed teams including Celta, Everton, Dalian Pro, Newcastle, Real Madrid, Napoli, Chelsea, Inter, Liverpool, and others.

Currently, Panathinaikos is 7th in the Greek Championship and 28th in the Europa League.
